USPS rolls out holiday gift wrapping, shipping products
One of the most stressful things about the holidays isn't visiting in-laws or the slush that lines roads and walkways - it's holiday gift wrapping. Some wrappers tear off too much or too little paper, and there's never enough tape to go around. Luckily for frazzled holiday consumers, the U.S. Postal Service has rolled out a new line of holiday products to help. Holiday mail and package senders can also alleviate their delivery anxiety by using address verification software.
The USPS announced in a recent press release the availability of holiday-themed ReadyPost items that include bubble mailers, mailing cartons, bubble wrap and packaging tape. Holiday designs feature candy cane stripes and mailers and cartons sporting the likes of Peanuts favorites Snoopy and Woodstock.
"If you’re planning on mailing your gifts this season, choosing ReadyPost mailers and cartons will save you time." said Kelly Sigmon, vice president of channel access for the USPS. "When you place these festive, sturdy containers into the mail, there’s no need to wrap the contents. ReadyPost is so versatile and cheery, it can be just right for gifts - even those that won’t go into the mail."
