…and it sure has got a lot of people talking. From Mailer IDs, to Ascenders and Descenders, we’ve been getting a lot of calls recently with questions on implementing the Intelligent Mail® barcode in your mailings.
We're happy to inform you that SmartAddresser 5 already offers full support for the new barcode, which is scheduled for full implementation by the USPS in May 2009. (more....)
IMPORTANT! Move Update Regulations
As a reminder, new USPS® rules that come into effect in November require that all mailers, not only First Class, but also Standard Class mailers, update their addresses through an approved "Move Update" process to qualify for automation and other discounts. SmartAddresser 5’s MUV Module is a great way to comply with these regulations and reduce your UAA mail.
Best practices for managing customer address data should include Move Update processing. Look for MUV for AccuMail too, coming later this summer!
