Enterprise and Mazda collaborate on QR code promotion
Many well-known brands have been taking advantage of quick response codes to give people more information about programs that could benefit them.
In a release, Enterprise Holdings stated that it had teamed up with Mazda to roll out the "OnRamp" marketing campaign using QR codes. The printed material will appear in all rented cars from the automaker, giving consumers the opportunity to scan barcodes and learn more about the vehicles.
According to Enterprise vice president of vehicle acquisition Susan Lombardo, the brand is hoping to take advantage of the emerging technology.
"Placing QR codes in our rental fleet vehicles is an innovative way to connect with drivers during the millions of test drives taking place in Enterprise's rental vehicles monthly," she said. "OnRamp exposes the thousands of renters who are likely looking for a new vehicle to a new experience that extends beyond the rental transaction."
There are other technologies that marketers can take advantage of when trying to increase profits. Using programs like web-to-print can have major benefits for those who implement them.
