Canada Post establishes partnerships to improve experience
In a continuing effort to broaden their services, Canada Post has announced two new partnerships aimed at diversifying the agency's digital presence and providing a better overall customer experience.
American Express
Announced via a press release, Canada Post recently reached an agreement with American Express to allow cardholders to use the agency's epost platform to handle bills from both the Amex Bank of Canada and Amex, Inc. Customers using the ecommerce portal can add their monthly billing statement as a mailer to be sent directly to their free digital mail boxes.
"The epost platform offers the level of trust our cardmembers have come to expect from us," Brett Mooney, vice president of consumer acquisition and management at American Express Canada, said in a statement. "We look forward to working with epost as we continue to create value for our cardmembers."
GoECart
By partnering with GoECart, Canada Post is gaining a comprehensive digital storefront that will assist U.S.-based retailers, as well as online shoppers in Canada, a press release confirmed.
GoECart , an e-commerce solutions firm, is providing the postal agency with an integrated, multi-channel platform. For businesses shipping from the U.S. to Canada, the new platform means access to a variety of new features, like the ability to print shipping labels, track shipments and quickly retrieve shipping rates and times.
"Our integration with Canada Post enables GoECart merchants to manage their order fulfillment, shipping and logistics operations in Canada with more confidence, as they are now seamlessly connected to the largest retail postal network in Canada. Shipping to Canada has become as simple as shipping to Texas," says Manish Chowdhary, CEO of GoECart.
Additionally, by streamlining the shipping process for stateside retailers, customers in turn reap the benefits of a more efficient, more transparent process.
This year, Canada Post has made several strides in securing a more affordable and enjoyable experience for both individual and commercial mailers. To further capitalize on the agency's gains, businesses can invest in mailing software, which can help consolidate internal postal operations.
