Realtor utilizing direct mail marketing to expand customer base
A real estate agent from Pennsylvania is taking advantage of direct mail marketing to become one of the highest ranking agents in the state.
Brett Furman is finding it easier to connect with homebuyers and grow his customer base by using direct mail and specifically by using larger cards, which he has found to increase his response rate by 46 percent. By using web-to-print software, professionals like Furman could further update and personalize direct marketing materials, leading to further expansion of customers. Furman also said that his direct mail cards stand out more, given that some of his competition has shifted away from direct mail.
"Many of the clients tell me that I am the only agent that is using direct mail," Furman said. "Twenty-six years ago when I started, I used direct mail but found that the mailboxes were being stuffed with other offers from other real estate companies. Direct mail allows me to target better and helps me find more buyers for my listings."
According to Business 2 Community, realtors can also leverage new digital channels to appeal to customers by creating useful and engaging content on a blog or a webpage, using social media posts to respond to potential consumers and taking advantage of search engine optimized and pay-per-click marketing.
