Print industry expo saw high attendance
When it comes to increasing the number of clients a printing firm has, one of the best ways to get a message out is to take part in industry-wide events. Coming together with others in the field will give those in the sector the chance to not only show products or services to a wider audience but also learn which strategies have been most effective.
One of the largest events to take place in the sector - GRAPH EXPO 2011 - was held just a few weeks ago in Chicago. The GRAPH EXPO group stated in a release that attendance for the event had increased from the year before.
"GRAPH EXPO 2011 featured a comprehensive exhibition of the very latest profit-enhancing technologies and applications for a diverse spectrum of industry attendees," the group said. "This year's show was enhanced by a record 34 co-located conferences, meetings, user groups and activities."
The theme of the 2011 event was how to "Embrace Technology" to make gains on others in the field. By leveraging tools such as web-to-print, those in the field could find a whole new customer base.
