Print+Digital = Consumer engagement
Statistics from Experian recently revealed two-thirds of the more than 2 billion internet users worldwide performed searches with Google, highlighting the importance for businesses to focus on online marketing.
However, according to many experts, business that want to achieve the highest level of success must leverage both digital and direct mail, using technology such as web-to-print software.
"It is common knowledge that integrated marketing efforts show the best return because of the resonance and reach that develops when using multiple channels," marketing company AccurateLeads said in a statement. "Direct mail campaigns drive traffic to sites and social media at which point internet marketing efforts play their various roles ... a synergy among all these channels is what ends up beating out competition and creating branding for a company."
Other studies have highlighted print marketing's importance. A study conducted by Marketing Sherpa, entitled How Are B2B Marketers Optimizing Their Funnel?, revealed that 46 percent of business people said the quality of content was important to outreach efforts.
