Brochures, fliers make an impression
Every day, Americans are bombarded with advertisements from all sorts of channels. While listening to the radio, watching TV, driving on the highway and walking down the street, marketers are relying on people to engage with their ads.
In a recent blog post for MyPrintResource.com, the website's editor, Denise Gustavson, discussed how signage is important in the United States because signs help businesses to get the word out about their products and services. Gustavson said she did not truly appreciate signs until she traveled to Ireland, where there were fewer signs and she often found herself looking around, hoping to find some piece of information.
Brochures and fliers are signs on a smaller scale. Gustavson's story highlights just how much signs - and billboards, brochures and fliers - are part of the background in the United States. By creating promotional materials with quality web-to-print software, businesses can create a marketing piece that stands out, to cut through the clutter and catch the eye of American consumers.
Some may believe that all of these promotional materials are the same, but actually they are quite different. According to an article for AArt Design, fliers are best for small-scale marketing, while brochures are more complex because they are often designed with a bi-fold or a tri-fold.
