 …and it sure has got a lot of people talking. From Mailer IDs, to Ascenders and Descenders, we’ve been getting a lot of calls recently with questions on implementing the Intelligent Mail® Barcode in your mailings.
We’re happy to inform you that SmartAddresser 5 already offers full support for the new barcode, which is scheduled for full implementation by the USPS in May 2009.

In there you’ll find instructions on obtaining your Mailer ID, required by every mailer to use the barcode, technical information on how the barcode should be printed on your mailpieces, and much more.
