Did you know that postal addresses are often assigned before a proposed office buildin
g or new home is ever built?
The Early Warning System was designed as another step towards increased address accuracy. The system is used to prevent you making changes to an address that may actually be new construction and has not been added to the ZIP + 4® database.
During Address Correction, if an address is identified as part of the EWS file, SmartAddresser 5 does not append the usual address changes, but informs you that the address will soon become valid. The EWS file is updated weekly so you remain current.
Don't delete prospects that will have a new house or office in the next 30 to 45 days. They may turn out to be your best customers!
